Well, nostalgia glasses on, of course, but I remember it was quite nice. You could even create your own hero And Lord of the Rings So lately Ive been looking for the game, since my old boxed copy (the base game the Angmar expansion) has been lost for good between two appartments.
![]() Ive seen the expansion alone (ok, its an expandalone, but still) at 80 eurosfor a second-hand CD. I assume EA simply lost the rights to LOTR and the game was discontinued, but are there more financiallegal shenanigans behind it (Like, say, the legal vacuum Homeworld Cataclysm fell into at one point and the loss of its source code ). WB hold the rights to LOTR videogames and EA doesnt, so EA cant publish them but WB doesnt own the game. I think its one of those cases where piracy is a moral positive. The Battle For Middle Earth Key Code Cd Crack To StartSo I could copy-paste the 10gb file to my current pc, then use a no-cd crack to start the game but at this point (and my fear of downloading stuff on shady sites notwithstanding) its just more trouble than its worth. Suspect it will make its way onto GOG or something in a few years, theres been similar liscencing SNAFUs got sorted in the past. Been avidly following RPS since this spring or so, when finally I got me a decent gaming PC. The Battle For Middle Earth Key Code Mod For MedievalIf you want Tolkein: Total War, you want the Third Age mod for Medieval II. I play it for the single player but theres still an online community. Wasnt its status basically like CC Generals -good but LOTR I mean it had a huge loyal following. The Battle For Middle Earth Key Code Series Though AWould be so great to get a new game in the series though a HD remake of the second might be better than a new vision. Also an off topic thought: why isnt there a hearthstone copy set in LOTR yet. Orcs and goblins marching off into the wilds and throwing up a base to pump out workers and units No problem. Immortal Elves and slow-breeding Dwarves doing the same Just no. Id have much preferred to see them having to spend their ever dwindling forces wisely, but I confess balancing that would be a bitch. There would have to be some sort of increasing alert mechanic to prevent them going on an immediate zerg rush before the horde had even got established. The PC version of the game was shut down on December 31, 2010. Electronic Arts noted that their discontinuation of support for the game was partly because the licensing deal with New Line Cinema (holders of the Lord of the Rings license) had expired, which led them to no other option than to shut down all online services for the game.
